Hi! I’m Kjetil.
Welcome to my blog, where passion for AI and Tech meets expertise.
I’m Kjetil, and my fascination with technology started with the early days of oversized computer media and has grown to encompass today’s advanced AI and innovative software solutions.
My journey wasn’t always focused on tech, but after an injury in the mid-2000s, I was forced to look for a new job and was reconnected with my technological roots.
With over a decade of experience in traditional IT Systems Architecture and Operations, as well as Microsoft Azure, I aim to provide clear insights in my articles to help you better understand these topics.
In this space, I cover a range of tech-related subjects, focusing on AI tools for bloggers and marketers.
I also dive into Azure-related topics that I encounter at work and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with a focus on Azure Bicep.
Feel free to reach out or connect on social media. Let’s embark on this journey into the future of technology together!
About Me
Hey there! Welcome to my wild ride through the twists and turns of my work life.
My story starts just after school when I jumped feet-first into the world of plumbing. That was a time of getting my hands dirty and building a strong work ethic that still sticks with me.
Then, I had a stint in the military which shook things up. It wasn’t just about following orders or keeping discipline—it was more about shaping who I am and teaching me a level of commitment that I’ve carried into everything since.
Life took a bit of a left turn when an injury put me behind the wheel of a taxi. Those taxi days were quite an adventure—dealing with busy streets and meeting all sorts of interesting people. It was tough, but it taught me a lot about dealing with people and bouncing back from challenges.
When my taxi days ended, I picked up a welding torch and dove into a world of creativity and precision. Welding wasn’t just about putting metals together, it was also about starting a new chapter in my life.
Feeling ready for something different, I decided to try my hand at information technology. Studying IT wasn’t always easy, but I tackled every challenge head-on and felt pretty proud when I finished.
While waiting to land my dream job in IT, I did a bit of carpentry. There was something satisfying about making things with my own two hands and solving problems on the fly.
So here I am, about to start my first official job in IT. The journey’s been long and winding, full of surprises and a whole range of experiences. From plumbing to the military, driving taxis to welding, and carpentry to IT—I’ve worn a lot of different hats.
But it’s not just about the past. Over the last decade, I’ve also worked my way up through the ranks in IT, starting from the help desk, moving into data center operations, and finally landing in solutions architecture and consulting.
Now that I’m stepping into blogging, I’m bringing with me all the lessons, skills, and resilience that I have learned.
I invite you to join me on this new journey as I bring my unique mix of experiences to my blog.
